From exploring mud caves to planning for Philmont, our scout troop continues to participate in fun activities every month.The mud caves were near Agua Caliente. When our troop arrived, it was already dark and we had to set up in heavy winds. Some of our scouts reported not being able to sleep that night because of how loud it was inside the tents. In the morning we had delicious oreo pancakes before exploring the caves. The caves were vast and at some points you would have to crawl through the cracks. At other times, the ceiling seemed 50 feet above you. Our scouts had a great time and would go again if ever given the opportunity.
At the beginning of April, we held another fundraising bake sale at MCAS Miramar. We all accidentally brought the same thing, a delightful mistake, but you can never have too many brownies.
