Feeding San Diego 2025 (Recap)

Scouts from Troop 226 volunteered with Feeding San Diego to help end hunger through food rescue. While our group was in, volunteers gleaned and packed 2,400 pounds of potatoes for various programs like the School Pantry Program that serves local San Diegans experiencing hunger. Volunteers also labeled 3,600 pounds of rice so that we can safely distribute food with the correct best by dates and nutrition information to our community members.
